So so so yummy. There's a few similar looking places on this street. This is the ONE. the hot food in the back. On point. The Sicilian pizza! The spaghetti ball!? I've never even heard of such a thing! So great and I'll bring out of town friends so they can experience an actual new Haven NEIGHBORHOOD. Just lovely! Went back on Saturday and got the calamari salad.... Wow!

Went to one of our HVAC supply houses for a Christmas dinner, the food was catered by Nica’s market. Let me just say.. incredible.

I love this place so much. It's the only place in New Haven I can find my favorite Kimbo coffee!!

Nica's is amazing! The food is fresh and fast, even during lunch rushes. The employees are always kind and many are bilingual. I love Nica's and feel it truly embodies the diversity (and tastiness) of East Rock. I have never been disappointed and will continue to be a loyal customer here.

Wow what a deli. Absolutely fantastic food. An $8 sandwich was my brunch, lunch and dinner and was seriously tasty. The line can get long it seems but there’s a team of people serving and they’re great fun while they get you through. Wish I could visit more 😋 …

I love its breakfast and lunch special! People are very nice. And it's at a perfect location for shuttle. You can enjoy brunch while waiting for the Orange Line shuttle.

Lived in New Haven for 6 years, and there were periods of time where I went to Nica’s daily. It’s the best! Amazing people, amazing hot foods in the back, and a reliable grocery market with everything you might need. Must try the paninis and Sicilian pizza (very tasty thick crust if New Haven style isn’t for you)! Also a lovely patio out front. Will miss this place the most out of everywhere in New Haven

Nica's is a charming neighborhood deli that offers a variety of mouthwatering options, from hearty sandwiches and paninis to fresh salads and homemade soups. It's been a favorite local spot for years. I recommend their chicken cutlet sandwich, especially when paired with fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers on focaccia. The outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying your meal on a sunny day.​ One of my favorite hidden gem's in the east rock neighborhood.

I expected a regular sandwhich from the deli counter but I couldn't even beleive the Cowgirl Deli sandwhich. It was packed with amazing ingredients that really harmonized all the ingredients. The fact that they stacked up the deli meats and just dropped a few drops of vinegar, olive oil and dressings made this sandwhich amazing. I couldn't eat it all at once. The second half is going to be for dinner.
